My name is Alek Helvey, and I am from Phoenix, Arizona, in the Class of 2024. I am a 5 foot 11 inch outside back with a 4.0 GPA. I am an athletic, composed, and versatile player having excelled at many different positions over the years. As a freshman, I played MLS Next for Phoenix Rising, so I didn't play high school soccer that year. However, as a sophomore I started and played regularly for Pinnacle High School's (6A) varsity soccer team. Many of my teammates are moving on to college soccer at D1 and D2 levels, and this has inspired me to pursue the college soccer pathway as well. My passion for soccer started at 4 years old in California, and I have been playing ever since. Since my mom is from Poland, I have grown up with a love for soccer. My dream and goal would be to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level.
