“Most kids dream of scoring the perfect goal. I’ve always dreamed of stopping it.“
- Iker Casillas
My name is Jackson Lau, and I am currently in my senior year at Chilliwack Senior Secondary School. I am interested in pursuing post education in Business Management and Accounting classes, as I would like to own and operate my own soccer store.
I am currently playing soccer for Coastal FC in the BCHPL ( British Columbia High Performance League) as a goalkeeper. I previously played for Fraser Valley Metro Selects and we were the reigning Boys Provincial A champions.
I like to play an aggressive style, and come out and attack the ball. I like to distribute the ball quickly to start the counter attack and am not afraid to have the ball at my feet to play it out.
Soccer has been such a big part of my life! I am dedicated, and an encourager and have great people skills. I am organized, always on time, supportive leader, a hard worker and prefer working in a team.
Away from the soccer field, I like to attend and volunteer at Charis Camp and Conference Center, both as a camper, and as a Team/Cabin Leader. Or ride my mountain bike and just hang out with my friends.
