Like the majority of my peers, I also have dreams of playing soccer on a Premiere League team (Tottenham Hotspurs). However, my goals for the present time are to play soccer post-secondary while completing a Bachelor of Science degree.
Academically, I have worked hard on maintaining a 4.0 GPA through Grade 8, 9 and 10. I have continued to have academic success in Grade 11, having maintained a 87 percent or higher in all of my current courses. I have challenged myself this year as well by enrolling in an Independent Study Course, developing a course that focuses on the promotion of the elite student athlete to prospective coaches.
Athletically, I have continued to challenge myself. Finding myself not being moved up in Divisions, I took it upon myself three years ago to tryout for a BCSPL team. I made the team and currently have played at the Metro division after the club I played at dissolved. I challenged myself again this past spring after switching from Centreback to Striker. While I have only played this position since March, I lead my team in assists and am one of our top goal scorer.
