I’m an extremely hard worker. I’m very dedicated in both athletics and my academics. I’ve maintained an A average while training a minimum of 6 days a week.
I chose soccer from the age of 4 and have dedicated everything I’ve had to it. I knew I wanted to play one day in Europe and pursued European styles of play in league as well as European coaching styles. I trialed at FC Metz in June of 2018 and was offered an opportunity to train there the following season. I moved to Metz, France in August 2018 to live at the football club at the age of 15.
I take soccer very seriously. I listen to the coach’s instructions and I’ve been able to adapt to their style. I began in France with a considerable gap in my speed of play compared to theirs. After working very, very hard I’ve raised the level of my game to where it needs to be. I get to practice early, train as though it’s all I’m here for and leave nothing on the field. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done but also the most rewarding. I can achieve anything if I work hard enough. It’s the way I’ve always been and it’s worked for me.
