Joshua Lim '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joshua Lim and I play for San Francisco Glens Soccer Club.  I have been extremely dedicated and committed to improving during my soccer career.   When I joined the San Francisco Glens in the summer of 2023, I was originally assigned to the NPL team as a part-time MLS Next player.  However, I have improved and showed that I am able to compete at the MLS Next level and  have achieved a consistent spot on the MLS Next team in the fall of 2023.  I occasionally still play with the NPL team. Throughout my soccer career, I have not only been very committed to going to practices and games, but I also train outside of normal practice schedules. I have trained much on my primary right, but also left foot and I am able to play with both feet with great intensity in practices and games. Aside from soccer, I am also a good student and have sustained excellent grades throughout my academic life. I  also volunteer many hours at my church summer camp as a camp counselor.  I am also a committed band member playing the trumpet for my high school.   I hope to display my soccer skills and intelligence to coaches through my video highlights, games and showcase events.
