I first started playing lacrosse in 9th grade and instantly loved the creativity and freedom of the game. My first high school season, I played midfield . This was because of my height advantage in the draw and impact I made both on the attack and defending our cage. I played for RIZE NorCal my first Summer and Fall seasons, but joined Tenacity Lacrosse in the Winter because of their elite level of play, club philosophy and committed coaching staff. On Tenacity Elite, I play attack as well as take the draw. I was selected as a WPLL Futures player to represent Northern California in 2020. In addition to lacrosse, I played club soccer for 8 years and club futsal for 7 years, winning 2 National Futsal Championships. In high school soccer, I am a Central Coast Section Champion and a NorCal Championship runner-up.
Academically, I am a straight A student with a weighted GPA of 4.2. I have taken AP European History, AS (Advanced Studies) English I and II, AS Contemporary Studies, and Compressed Math. I am currently taking AP U.S. History, AP Chemistry and AP Literature. I am passionate about volunteering in my community, logging over 120 hours of service during the past two years at CuriOdyssey, a local zoo and science hands-on museum. I work with children aged 6-10 at CuriOdyssey, encouraging them to ask questions, use all of their senses, and foster critical thinking. Additionally, I am a member of the Iron Panthers, my school's robotics team, which won the World Championship in 2019. Our mission is to use robotics to foster STEM interest among youth in our community. We do this through our Elementary Robotics Club. As a coach, I lead students through engineering and coding challenges to teach leadership, collaboration and problem-solving skills applicable to the real world.
