Soccer has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From the first time I stepped on the field, I knew that this was my calling that would bring me the most happiness in my life. Every day, I put in extra work to develop my skills. When I’m not practicing drills, I’m studying the game to boost my soccer IQ. I show up to practice prepared and ready to listen to my coaches. In games, my favorite thing is getting the ball at my feet so I can dribble and showcase my skills whenever I’m playing. Even when I’m off the field, soccer continues to inspire me. It’s thanks to the work ethic that I’ve learned that I put in the effort to keep a high GPA. Also, since the sport connects me with my roots, I’m also an active member of my school’s Latino, Italian, and Jewish clubs. My goal as a student-athlete is to attend a high-level college that prepares me for the future and offers the opportunity for me to play the sport that I love. By doing this, I hope to make my family and my community proud, while I also get to live my dream as a high-level soccer player.
