Nicolas Hedges '23 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer at 7 years old and never stopped. My primary goal is to play collegiate soccer and then move on to professional. But, I am also a student, actor, producer/rapper and future soldier. One thing that you may not know about me is that I have a learning disability. Although school is hard for me, I learned I need to work harder, push through school and self advocate for myself. This past semester, I was proud to earn a 3.16 GPA. I'm also an actor. I have been on network TV shows including Grey's Anatomy and NCIS and commercials for Petco and Disneyland.  Acting has taught me how to take direction and how to work with others. As a producer/rapper, I create music based off my mood.  It is a creative outlet for me and it gives me something positive to do. With everything that I have learned and the things that I am still learning, I believe that will help me become a great soccer player. I am ready to work non-stop to get there.  I will take these life skills and use them them throughout my soccer journey.
