Nicholas Lentini '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember, this sport has transformed from just Upland AYSO to Club Soccer to a sport I cannot live without. Motivation to wake up at 6 in the morning on weekends for club tournaments, sometimes two hour long drives, gone all day while still trying to juggle my homework is exciting to me because soccer is my passion!  Over the years, I have played in many big tournaments, the most recent being Donosti Cup in Spain. For me, Donosti Cup turned out to be much bigger than just a tournament. It was an experience that changed how I will play and watch soccer for the rest of my life.

What sets me apart from others? Simple:  Value! I’m known to have a wicked left foot, a positive attitude, hustle, and a 3.5 GPA.  I have the confidence, commitment, and drive to battle for the ball until the very end!  As team captain, I find my positive mindset helps me influence my team during the tough times. But there’s more to Nick Lentini. Along with my talent on the field, my academics, and drive to win, I have a supportive family behind me encouraging me to follow my dreams. It is my hope, being a serious student, leader, team player, and competitive athlete will help me get accepted into a great school in Southern California.
