Winning the Santa Clara Athletic League (De Anza Division) as a freshman is one of the highlight of my high school career for now. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my sophomore year when our team made the state tournament but lost in the first round. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a solid center back capable of playing at the college level.
I was fortunate enough to be part of an amazing team, where I was able to learn from the seniors and juniors. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership the year without a trophy. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. And I also believe that I will keep on developing and improving my talent and character in the next two years before I go to college.
