Declan Fee '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Declan Fee and I am part of the 2023 graduating class at Davis High School in Davis, CA. I play goalkeeper for the Davis Legacy 05 team, and have played for Davis High's varsity team since my sophomore year. 

I've been playing keeper full-time for three years, and feel that I have not yet reached my full potential. My coaches tell me I have a strong work ethic and that I bring a positive, flexible attitude to training and to matches. I am looking to continue improving and to bring this attitude to a college team that values me as a soccer player and as a student.

In addition to soccer, I'm very active in journalism, serving as my school newspaper's editor-in-chief. I also am a leader in other organizations within my school and community. I look forward to studying education, environmental science,  or journalism in college. 

I hope to attend a community-oriented college where I can contribute to the success of a Division III soccer team, hopefully also becoming a leader in that community.
