  • Coach's Evaluation from Sac United you can cut and paste link to evaluation on google drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4DvnSfymCfyVlkzLUtSV29zX1k5LWpSMTlrRjVxSmI3RVVV As the 10, you make excellent runs into the opponents defensive line. You will want to be sure to take the 2nd space created by the 9 so that you don't take that players run away. In phase 1 and 2, keep giving us a higher midfield option to break pressure. Before the Action Positioning Taking Looks You are very adept at delivering well weighted long passes. Keep developing your left so that you can take advantage of any opportunity. A well placed long diagonal pass to the weak side forward can really break a defense down. Long Passing Moment: WE Have the Ball TACTICAL DEVELOPMENT PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PLAN One Club ~ One Love TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT JD Vlcek Your balance and soft touch really serve you well here. You are able to control the ball in the varying ways it can reach you. I have seen you control the ball very well when you make the 4th lane run and the ball is played over the top to you. Keep working on protecting your first touch thru phase 1 and 2. Receiving Short Passing Dribbling You are very composed and accurate with your short range passing. You also have excellent 1 touch passing combinations in the final third thru phase 3. This is where I have seen a great improvement in your game. Keep developing your accuracy to place your short passes in phase 1 and 2 to the proper foot consistently. You are very creative and can dribble out of tight spaces. Sometimes your moves are a bit risky if done in our build-up or in our own half. Get comfortable protecting the ball in certain situations so that we can continue with our buildup. Heading You can run hot and cold. Sometimes anything you touch in scoring position goes in. Sometimes you will hit a dry spell. Keep working on consistency with your varying finishing techniques and continue to believe in yourself. Keep shooting. Finishing You are strong in the air and time your jumps well. You are aggressive and know how to use your body to get the opponent off balance. Overall you consistently step into your challenges very well. You do a good job of using your body and being physical. Tackling Rest Defense Position After the Action Movement after the Pass You have good field awareness and are checking your space before you receive the ball. Keep checking the weak side to see if you can help change the point of attack with a single pass. You are active and looking for the passing lane to relieve pressure. Be sure to be in a passing lane for the defenders to reach you. You are a creative 1v1 dribbler and use your athleticism well here. Keep attacking the defender in our attacking half when you are 1v1. You dribble into space very well and are always looking to get forward. Keep working on turning on your first touch when a defender is right on your back. Breaking Lines Dribbling to take space Dribbling to take on opponent (1v1) During the Action Being the free player As a midfielder, you do this very well in phase 3. You look to make attacking runs into the final third. In phase 1 and 2, you can help our defenders and the 6 break the opponents pressure line by showing behind or wide of their pressure. Stay connected with your midfielders to seal the center of the field. As the team controls the game, recognize your role in preventing the other team's counter attack.
