Hello future coaches reading this. My name is Ryan Nguyen, a player of the OV Toros FC 2010 Black team, and current freshman at Dr. TJ Owen's Gilroy Early College Academy (also known as GECA) in Gilroy, CA. On my team, I am referred to as "Rocket" or "The Flash" because of my explosive top speed, quick thinking, and stamina up and down the field. I believe that my intense work rate, listening and learning skills, and adaptability all make me a great addition for any team. I may not have the flashy skills or techniques seen in other players, but that's because unlike others, I haven't been playing competitive soccer from childhood. As of right now, I am still growing and improving as a player, and I plan to surpass most others in the near future. Unlike other athletes out there, I always take criticism, complaints, and suggestions with an open mind. During team practices and solo trainings, I always try my hardest to improve on my weaknesses, further my strengths, and analyze what I can do better. What I want to accomplish in the future is to play soccer at a college and professional level, attend a good college to provide a great education and degree, and to just enjoy my life and have fun.
