Anders Bisgaard '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Anders Bisgaard and I am a central midfielder in the class of 2024. I was born and raised in Denmark, moving to California when I was 5, so the European spirit for soccer runs in my blood. I have been playing since I learned how to walk and I am a deeply committed athlete and student who will always put in more work than the requirement. For instance, I played on the same soccer team since I was 8 years old, and as time has gone by we went from being your average kid's soccer team to competing at the highest level in California and even beyond, in tournaments such as Mayors Cup in Las Vegas. As a result of my hard work and persistence, I have captained my team for many years. I have now transferred to Stanford Soccer Club were I start as an attacking midfielder. As a student, I have always loved a challenge and I attend Crystal Springs Uplands School which has been ranked top 15 in terms of academic rigor in the nation. I take honors Math (Precalculus)  and have a 3.8 GPA. I have taken two official practice SAT tests scoring 1500 and 1510. I also decided to compete for my school and started on the varsity soccer team as a Freshman. I scored 7 goals, with many more assists, that season and we finished the highest on the table we have in years.
