I am Landon Zakhar, class of 2022. I aspire to play collegiate soccer as well as obtain a degree in Business Finance. I currently have a 3.8GPA. I was a Peer Assisted Leader in both 7th and 8th grade. I am also a Big Buddy (a program that helps mentor students who have special needs), at my high school, Tesoro High School.
I began playing soccer at the age of 3 years old for the YMCA and have not stopped playing. I have played club soccer for the Pateadores for 7 years and have played for the Reserve Academy for the last 3 years. I have also been honored with the role of team captain for the last 3 years. I am left and right foot dominant, so I have the ability to play on either side as well as center. I currently play outside mid and striker. I have a good eye for the space on the field and for creating plays and scoring opportunities with well timed through balls.
April 2019, I traveled to Barcelona, Spain for 10 days and trained with Barcelona and RCD Espanyol coaches and played in 4 matches, scoring 1 goal and 4 assists.
