My name Is Izaiah Samayoa, I am 17 years old, a senior at Lawndale High School and a member of the FC Golden State Academy. Throughout my life, I have had many hobbies, goals, and dreams. But as I grew, my dreams and aspirations changed and altered, but soccer has never changed. Since I started playing at five, I immediately fell in love with the sport, and the passion I had for it since the beginning has not changed. That's because I looked up to famous and incredible players who made their fans cry in his/her presence, I looked up to these players because I dreamed that one day I can grow to be such a player and inspire, encourage, and motivate kids to become something bigger than they expected. But soccer is not my only dream, I want to go to University to continue my education in Business and learn more about life away from home, I want to make bonds between professors and students, I want to become a student-athlete.

- For the past 3 years when I'm off from soccer practice I run on my own or sometimes I team up with a few friends and run 3-5 miles. But now with all the Covid-19 measures, I have been running on my own to maintain my self and others safe from Covid-19. I enjoy running because it keeps me physically and mentally healthy.
