I believe that what makes me a good candidate for your team is knowing that I am a hard-worker and a team player. Being part of a team, I will make sure that I continue helping my teammates succeed on and off the field. For example, if one of my teammates needs to finish an assignment to better his grades, I will work with them on the subject needed to assist or encourage them to attend tutoring. It is so important that the team feels that we are part of a family and working together will help us improve ourselves. Furthermore, if one of my teammates is looking to improve in an area on the field where I can be of use, I will go the extra mile to help them learn some techniques to improve their game. What sets me apart from other candidates is my ability to balance school and extracurricular activities. I want to be that difference maker on the field, but as a student I want to make sure that I work as hard as I can to succeed academically as well. My goal as a teammate is to make my team better, I want to be an asset to the team and hope to learn as much from my teammates and my coaches. I would also want to complete college with a high GPA. My character as a player might be a bit quiet off the field, but on the field, I am able to communicate with teammates to make plays that will increase our game.
