My main goal in life to become a Cardio Thoracic surgeon and a professional soccer player. I plan to accomplish these goals by attending a great University that will teach and support me all the fundamentals that will lead me to be that surgeon and professional goalkeeper I envision becoming. Ever since I was younger I played soccer all day long. It has been my passion to become those great goalkeepers you see on television. I have also had the passion on becoming a surgeon my whole life. Instead of toys I would ask my parents for scrubs and suturing sets. I remember playing with my sister “pretend doctor” and saying to my family and myself that one day I will become a surgeon and save the lives of others. What makes me a good candidate for these outstanding teams is that I’m very dedicated and a fast learner. I will not stop until I’m able to block that shot and better my way of playing this beautiful sport. Im proud to say that all my coaches throughout the years have been fascinated in the way I see and play this sport. I’m a team player and also do not believe that you can win on your own. In all the teams I have played on, we have built a great relationship that has taken us to many victories. On many occasions I have been awarded MVP of the tournament. However, I do not let that get in the way of improving my performance game after game. Education has always played an important role in becoming a better individual. Since I was in the 7th grade, I have had straight A’s. I have received many academic awards including principles honor roll, student of the month, honor roll, perfect attendance, and highest grades. I have also volunteered for my local hospital, San Francis Medical Center, assisting the nurses and providing to all the patients needs. I have coached an Elementary School soccer team to motivate the students to continue to pursue their dreams and not give up no matter ones social and economic status.
