Alexander Bruneau '24 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

I believe that I am a valuable candidate for your team as I bring many qualities that many other athletes don't have. One of these is my academic accomplishments. I have been succeeding in my classes at Head-Royce School, a prestigious private school in Oakland, California, and my GPA is currently a 4.4/3.9. I started playing soccer when I was 3 years old, I played at an academy level as soon as possible, and have played for the past 3 years in the Cal North ODP travel pool. I play as an attacking midfielder(10), but I can also play as a central midfielder(8), defensive midfielder(6), right winger(7), and right back(2). On the field I bring a very advanced understanding of the game, allowing me to slow down or speed up the pace of the game whenever necessary. I add to this with very strong technical ability, quick feet on the ball, and exceptional vision to play my teammates into space. I think with the right coaches to help me as I grow, I can become a much stronger player.
