Ethan Phillips So...Personal Statement
My name is Ethan Phillips (Birth year 2005) and I currently play for West Coast Futbol Club. I have played at West Coast FC since the age of 4 and have always played on the top level team. I am right footed and play primarily the 10 position as well as the 7 or 11. I am extremely passionate about soccer and strive to always play at the highest level and have aspirations to play Division 1 soccer. I'm currently a Senior at Orange Lutheran High School and along with engaging in a challenging academic environment, I play on the school’s High School team in addition to my club team. Our High School team just won the CIF and State Championship.
In addition to my commitment to soccer, I am also very involved in my community and supporting others. For the last 6 years I have been an active member of Lions Heart Community Service as well as the All Star program at my school where I have logged over 100 hours of community service each year. Whether it is refereeing a youth AYSO game, assisting in Bible Camp or being a Junior counselor at a children’s camp, I enjoy giving back and being a leader in my community.
My goal is to play division 1 soccer at the highest level and earn a degree from a great university. I believe my coach-ability, athleticism, technical and tactical ability with a commitment to winning will be an asset to you and your team.
