Hi, my name is Anthony Aguilar and I am a student-athlete of the class of 2023. I play goalkeeper for both club and highschool level. Heading into the next step into college, I would love to learn about the game at a higher level than what I am playing right now, as well as playing and gaining that experience from that environment. Currently I captain for my club and I am a vice-captain for my highschool. Being a leader of a team has always been something I've aspired to be since I've always seen the importance there is into having someone to direct the team when in tough times they can't seem to find the rhythm they may normally have. I'm an open minded and understanding player and person, so if it comes to any criticism or anything in that field, I would know how to handle it and use it in a positive manner for improvement rather than letting it bring me down. The difference that separates me is my understanding of the game. I know how to read the game tactically well in order to add input to a manager who may not see the game the same way as I may have seen it.
