I have played soccer for the majority of my life. I started when I was just five years old. My passion for the game has never ceased and because of this, I am constantly developing as a player. I have experienced many things as a player, including both winning and losing tournaments as well as being named captain of a team where many players are a year older than me. However, one constant has been my motivation. I always want to get better. This motivation also carries over to the classroom where I strive for high grades and an overall positive learning experience. Throughout high school, I have a weighted GPA of 3.85 however, during Junior year, I have been able to obtain a weighted GPA of 4.16. In terms of academics in college, I hope to study archaeology or sports medicine and also face a challenging course in order to allow myself to grow as a learner. In terms of athletics, I want to play on a soccer team which will present a challenge every week and subsequently allow me to have motivation to get better. I also want to be able to use my leadership skills to their full potential and provide an immediate yet positive impact on the team.
