Hello, my name is Ben Lynn, and I'm a 2024 Outside Winger and Striker. I started playing soccer around five years old and what I instantly fell in love with was the competitive nature and comradery of the sport. I am a very competitive player and that has fueled my love for the game. I've learned that I am a natural leader which has been supported by the fact that I have been voted in as Team Captain by my teammates in both my high school and club teams. Team Captain has helped me get comfortable being a leader in aspects of my life outside of soccer as well. I have worked to balance a demanding soccer schedule while doing my best to challenge myself academically and maintain a high GPA. 

       Outside of soccer, I continue to enjoy doing things that involve being outside and being around others. I love anything outdoors, whether it's camping with family and friends, working with the livestock around our small farm, or participating in volunteering opportunities. Through volunteering at soccer camps with younger kids I have found my love in coaching and mentoring, as well as playing.I have had multiple opportunities to help younger and less experienced kids find their love in the game. Volunteering is something that I greatly enjoy. Over Spring Break I went on an 8-day mission trip to Mexico with my church, and plan on returning next year. I have also always been very active in volunteering at my church's Vacation Bible School camp where I have had a leadership role since I was in Jr High, this year leading a group of 14 sixth-grade boys with only another high-school student as a co-leader.
