One of my long-term aspirations was to find a university where I can reach my fullest soccer potential and become a great positive role model to my team and school. I can and will contribute immediately and enthusiastically to the team with my athletic attributes and positive attitude. I plan to pursue a career in Business Management, which will open doors to work in a myriad of different sectors, including those you would not typically associate with business in general. More obvious careers with a business degree include roles in accounting and finance departments, which take in large numbers of business degree graduates. Other sectors with high demand for business graduates include marketing and advertising, as well as retail, sales, human resources and business consultancy. The diversity and plenitude of careers with a business degree underlies the subject’s appeal for me. Since a young age, I had to learn how to deal with multiple sports, teams, school and house chores, which make me a leader, an analytical and critical thinker, a problem solver, a decision maker, self-motivated, and an effective time manager. My motto is, “I can and I will!”
Soccer is my heart and passion and I will always give coaches, teammates, teachers, and school my 100% effort in the classroom, practices, and games and much more in loyalty and dedication. I’m always the first in and last student/player to leave the classroom and practices due to my commitment to improve on every aspect of my game and my academics.
What makes me a good candidate for your team?
I am very athletic and committed. I can play multiple positions in the attacking front and definitely defend and recover the possession of the ball. I have great attitude and am an excellent team player. I have always maintain good grades and have succeeded as a player continuously since I was four years old.
What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?
I am very competitive with a strong desire to be great, my passion for the game drives me to excel. I am a versatile athlete with excellent feet-eye coordination. I have very good knowledge of all aspects of the game and my instincts are superb allowing me to be at the right place at the right time. I am a leader among my peers; I am dynamic and adaptable, able to play multiple positions well. I'm also a quick thinker and learner.
I have played against and with Spanish and South American teams, which has expanded my game knowledge and I was able to adapt to a very demanding and technical soccer methodology. On my club team, I am playing at the highest level and have accomplished significant team and individual goals. In academics, I am in AP and Honors classes.
My goal is to graduate for a solid future and make myself, my parents, coaches, and faculty, very proud of me leaving a legacy of allegiance to the colors I represent.
