Benjamin Dodd '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ben Dodd.  I am a 2023 graduate of Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, CA and am currently entering my sophomore year at Cuyamaca College (JC) where I play as a center back and outside left back.  I believe that being a well-rounded person is important. I strive to be the best I can be both in the classroom and on the field while maintaining strong, spiritual faith.  I will continue to keep this balance in college as I believe that all are important in building a strong foundation both as a person and as a student-athlete.

As a former player for San Diego Surf I have had an amazing opportunity to learn from highly experienced coaches and former professional players. My passion and love for the game never ends and is the driving force behind my desire to play soccer at the collegiate level.  I am a versatile player allowing coaches to move me wherever it would best help the team. I have played both central defender and outside back, and I am equally comfortable in both positions.

I look forward to the opportunity to speak and interact with coaches to determine if I am the right fit for their program and the university is the right fit for me to continue my personal growth.  Regardless of what university I attend, I will give the best version of myself and represent the university well.
