Michael Macias '22 Recruiting Profile

Playing Soccer allows me to express myself in many ways that clear my mind from all outside thoughts and distractions. Allowing me to be obsessed with Soccer since the age of 3, challenging myself every day to be the best Soccer player I can become. It has made me a key player on any team I am a part of from my desire and open-mindedness to gain more knowledge about how to improve my game. Winning 3 Open Division CCS championships, an Open Divison NorCal State title, and a Futsal National Men's Open Championship has taught me how to perform in pressure situations individually as well as collectively as a team. Therefore, this gives me plenty of experience in big game situations that many players my age have not been a part of. Despite my academic struggles, I am now aware of how serious and beneficial doing well in school can be in my future athletically and academically. Over the years I have also become more mentally mature with each coming year and am ready to truly become the best Student-Athlete I can be.
