Hello Coaches and Staff,
I am the hardest worker I know. As I found my passion for the sport, I no longer was content with playing at a low level. So in just a few years, I had to grind all the way up from recreational/flight 3 club soccer to joining and eventually starting on one of the top club teams in Southern California under one of the best coaches around, Erik Kirsch. Freshman year, I started out on Junior Varsity, but I impressed and worked hard, earning a starting spot on Varsity by the time playoffs came around. I won San Joaquin League Player of the Year during my sophomore year.
That work-rate is why I will make a full recovery and compete at a high level in college. During the semifinals of Manchester City Cup on May 30, 2022, I tore my ACL. This injury came at a terrible time, as I had become a cornerstone on my club team, as we began to win tournament after tournament (Man City Cup, Surf College Cup, US Club Soccer Southwest Regionals), and I would end up missing the most important time period for college recruiting.
I have worked my way up from the bottom to the top before, so I am fully prepared to do so again. I am working diligently in rehab in order to maximize my healing and get back onto the field as soon as possible.
Additionally, I am an incredibly diverse player. For my high school team I often play a central midfield or a winger role, while for my club team I am used as a striker and as a center back. I have a flexible build and athletic base, and that combined with my consistent experience at nearly every position on the pitch makes me a valuable asset to any team. Also, I scored a 35 on my ACT, and currently have achieved a 4.42 GPA at one of the most rigorous high schools in the country, St. Margaret's Episcopal.
I am looking for a school that can challenge me both academically and athletically, and I want to win championships and progress up the American soccer ladder.
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
