Hello, My name is Adrian Arvizu I started playing soccer when I was three years old and began playing competitive soccer at the age of six. What motivated me the most about soccer was my older brother, I looked up to him my entire life wanting to be just as good as he was - if not even better. What improved my game as a player, was always competing with him, he would constantly challenge me. That pushed me to work even harder. We would watch games/videos on soccer and practice together. I grew up not missing a day of soccer, I played all year round. When I wasn't playing during the regular soccer season my dad would take me to La Liga, so I could gain more touches on the ball. Ever since I was little I have always aspired to play college soccer, I want to play at the highest level.
All of my coaches have been pleased with my soccer abilities because I always work hard on the field. I constantly show leadership, commitment, and dedication. I have been told I am very coachable. In high school, my freshman year I was chosen as captain amongst my fellow teammates. I've played soccer in all areas around the Bay Area, SoCal, Vegas, and Oregon. At thirteen years old I had the privilege to visit and play at Sheffield Wednesday and play against Sheffield United Youth Academies. I've seen many different styles of play as I adapt to compete against whoever I'm against.
I'm very passionate about soccer. I enjoy playing with teammates that have the same passion and dedication as I do. I am looking forward to playing soccer at the college level because I want to build a brotherhood where we can all encourage one another and build a strong team foundation.
