Chad Kuykendall '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chad Kuykendall.  I play both forward and wing for Mustang SC 06B ECNL.  In high school this past year, I played center-mid, captained my team and won the league most valuable player award.

I enjoy being part of team and love competition.   Over the years, I have played different sports competitively and for my high school (soccer, football, baseball, basketball and track).   I have learned a lot from all the different teams and coaches I have played with, and each sport has helped me develop different skills that contribute to my athletic talents and make me a better soccer player.  Soccer is where I have had the greatest success and where I have decided to focus on for college.   I am an excellent offensive player, having led my teams in goals since I started playing.  My passing/assists is also an area where I excel, and that I am also very proud of.  Our team results have been outstanding, winning multiple league and state titles.

In my spare time, I enjoy coaching and mentoring young soccer players.  I have volunteered at local soccer camps for many years and enjoy helping kids develop their skills and love for the game.   I also provide private training lessons for some of the local youth that are trying to take their game to the next level. Since starting high school, I have been committed to achieving the highest grades possible.  I challenge myself by taking as many Honors, Advance Placement, and college classes as I can at my high school and local community college. The opportunity to play soccer at the college level and continue my education is my ultimate goal.  My hope is that my commitment to soccer and school over the years will provide me with opportunities to do both in the future.
