Artem Kravchenko '23 Recruiting Profile

I was a late bloomer in joining the sport of soccer as I started to kick a ball around only when I was 10. After a few years of playing for fun I got serious about wanting to get to the next level which was and is professional ball. Before I get to that level I want to further my academics and athletics at a school that wants to win as I always do and has a desire to make give everything they have on the field as that is the type of player that I am. As a center back I see everything in front of me so I make sure to guide my team and come up in big moments to keep the ball from going into my net. Not only do I defend but I provide attack from my different ranges of passes to getting onto a free kick or corner kick with my height to put one in. I love to play the game and my hope is that even though I was a late bloomer that enough work was put in to excel at the next level especially after last season being invited the train and compete in pre-season with my local MLS Next team Sacramento Republic FC.
