My name is Gavin Valladares. I want to play collegiate soccer and positively impact the games I play in. Being humbled by the level of other players at age 9 opened my eyes and showed me that if I wanted something, I was going to have to work for it. Long story short, I made that team, began my competitive soccer career, and have never looked back. I love playing and have played at the highest levels in Southern California, including the US Soccer Development Academy., SDCSL Flight 1 Chanpions, and CSL Premier.
Academics are important to me as well. I have just completed my Junior year with a 3.8 GPA while attending 3 AP classes and 1 Honors class.
I attend church locally and have been a volunteer coach for AYSO VIP, which is a program for kids with special needs. I am also a musician and play shows with my band. I am the founder and promoter of Flawed System Fest which is a music festival that I put on featuring a full lineup of bands, artists, food, and other vendors.
In addition to music, I am interested in computer media as well as medicine and would like to pursue one of these fields after my athletic career has ended.
I am looking forward to continuing to work hard to achieve my goals for myself and my teams.
