My name is Uriel Cruz , and I am a Senior at Yucaipa High School. I am driven to not only enhance my athletic skills at the collegiate level but also to contribute positively to a team that values integrity and perseverance as much as winning. Athletically, I have been a starting goalkeeper at my high school team for three years 2 years on JV and 1 year on Varsity. I’ve earned  Honorable Mentions, Athlete of the week, and Scholar Athlete awards. My commitment to improvement is persistent, and I am always looking for ways to enhance my abilities. Academically, I maintain a 2.2 GPA and have a particular interest in business. In terms of character, my coaches commend my leadership and ability to inspire teamwork, especially in high pressure situations. I have served as team captain for the past two years at my club team, a role that has taught me the importance of motivating others and fostering a supportive team environment. I believe my resilience and dedication would make me a valuable addition to your team. I am very enthusiastic about the possibility of contributing to a soccer team.
