I strive to play at a college that meets my academic and athletic goals. Academically, I want to pursue a career in the medical and biological fields. Although my main focus is soccer, I believe that cross training is important so I also have competed in swimming, basketball, football, dive, and ultimate Frisbee as well. I take very seriously the role of student athlete and so I am enrolled in honors and AP classes as well as pushing my self to truly learn what I am being taught rather than just chase a grade. I am committed to excel at both athletics and academics through high school and my college career.
For example, my first year as a freshman I tried out for high school and made JV with the opportunity to swing. I hated this and it gave me drive to improve and make it to the varsity level and this was the first time I had not made the first team at any level. I later that year moved up to varsity and started over a senior. Another part of me that has helped me as a soccer player is my competitive nature. In every thing I do I want to win it could be in elementary school in PE class or on the field against a striker. Soccer has brought this out and with it I have found reason in every game or practice I do because I want to win always. I also have a trace account that can help showcase recent games I've played and moments from my games.
