Bennett Yeboah '23 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was little, I had a great passion for the game of soccer. When I went to my first college soccer game in 4th grade I was amazed with the energetic atmosphere that the game brought and I knew from then I had to make playing college soccer a dream of mine. 

On the soccer field, I’m a key weapon on getting past an opponents back line, resulting in goals and goal scoring opportunities for me and my teammates through my dribbling skills, speed, shooting, crossing, and my constant runs. In the 2020 high school soccer season I was the leading goal scorer of my high school team with 20 goals and 3 assists and I was selected for the CRAL All-Conference team and the CSCA Class S All-State team. 

Not only I have the skill sets in the soccer field but also in the classroom to take me there. In the classroom I received High Honors and Honors with Distinction by having an A average all freshman year and ending the year off with a 3.97 cumulative gpa and a 4.08 weighted gpa. After college I’m hopefully planning on pursing a contract to play professionally in the MLS or playing for an expansion soccer team. If that doesn't work out, I will pursue becoming either a Lawyer, Economists, or an Actuary, haven't decided yet. 

What separates me from other players that want to be recruited is that I carry myself with a high standard in being mature and professional. I’m really committed and focus on what I want to accomplish and I don’t take opportunities for granted.
