Robert "Rob" Napolitano '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Robert Napolitano, and I want nothing more than to play soccer at the collegiate level. I have been playing soccer my entire life, and had many trials along the way. The element that I bring, unlike most other candidates, is my tremendous hard work which has gotten me past those low points. This work ethic is exemplified through the combination of academics and athletics. I have achieved a 3.958/4.0 gpa, as well as accumulated many soccer accolades. I truly am a scholar-athlete. Aside from work ethic, I also bring leadership to my teams. Freshman year I was elected captain after just four days of tryouts by guys who had just met me. I am also currently a candidate for Varsity Captain next year. My technical ability is passing, and dribbling. I lead my team in assists freshman and sophomore year, and currently the third highest leader in assists on Varsity. Aside from my passing, my dribbling is another strong aspect of my game. I have never met an opponent who I feel is all-around better at dribbling than I. All these elements, along with much confidence toward the game, is who I am as a soccer player.
