Nico Skalski '25 Recruiting Profile

Playing at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine. Just the thought of playing college soccer makes me feel empowered. I spend time on and off the field training and improving my skills and how I can get better every day. I am a team leader and have a style on the team being positive and giving constructive criticism. Some things that make me different than the rest are my discipline and drive to never give up on games. As a striker and a winger, I'm always goal-hungry and scanning the field for smart passes to win the game and assist my teammates. My style of play is like Haaland. I say that my style of play is like Haaland's because of the way he just hustles, scores many goals, and his personality on the field. My academics speak for themselves. I have made Beta club (honors for the first two quarters for freshman year and all honors for 8th grade). I love math and science, especially anatomy, and I want to pursue a nursing career as a CRNA. A CRNA as an anesthesiologist assistant and help in the operating room. My dad is a physician and does internal medicine and talks to me about his job and how everything in the body works. When he talks to me about this, he inspires me to pursue a career in the medical field. I am a clever and hard-thinker, as I am the first one to stay on task and get my work done.
