Committed to University of Charleston WV Fall 2023. Thank You.
——————————————————
My name is Lucas Basmadjian. I’m a Canadian athlete of Armenian-Filipino descent. I graduated HS from Sacred Heart Catholic High School, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada in June 2022. My goal is to attend an NCAA College or University and earn a degree while playing highly competitive soccer.
In Fall 2022, I will be attending my Post Graduate year playing for the Woodstock Academy Prep school, in Connecticut. I’m very excited to be part of the Centaurs and gain experience in the US soccer platform.
I’m a hard-working, dedicated student with the passion and enthusiasm for soccer that started when I was 4 years old and continue today along with my eagerness to succeed and play professional in the future.
I’m most recently a member of the League 1 Reserve team for the Woodbridge Soccer Club (U21 and U19) and won the Eastern Conference Championship in 2021 where I had 8 goals and 4 assists in 10 games with highest goal % on minutes played in one season.
I am primarily a Striker and can also play Winger. I have a strong overall vision and understanding of the game. I have strong footwork and physicality to win balls, create offensive chances and score goals. I’m a versatile player and can execute defensive tackles, as well as moving the ball up the pitch to the final third.
While it is ultimately my goal to play professional soccer, I am 100% committed to obtain a degree in either Business, Graphic Design or Architecture. I am hoping to leverage my soccer skills into achieving a superior education.
Thank you.
