I am raised old school in the south where unless you have a broken bone. You get up after a fall and give any sport you play your all. You respect, listen, and keep your mouth shut while the coach is talking. I am a very teamed based and a very competitive player. I have played and loved soccer ever since I was introduced by my friends at the age of 6. Ever since that day i have learned how to kick with both of my feet even though my strongest is my right. The reason how I figured out I have the "Gift" to being a goalkeeper is when our main goalkeeper had broken his forearm on the first game and we didn't have a backup. So I got $15 dollar gloves and studied the position till next practice where I tried and every ball that day couldn't pass me. My teammates were and are to this day impressed of me and my first varsity game as goalkeeper I got a shutout. As being the oldest of 4 I show my siblings that even if you don't win the game/scrimmage. If you gave it your all you have no shame in that game.
