I ascribe to the mantra that "character drives process, and process drives results". My primary goal is to pursue a post secondary pathway that will lead to success in life. Embedded in this belief is the idea that with pursuit of success comes a mindset of constant growth and reflection, a mindset that embraces failures as one of the critical pieces required to grow and improve, My drive is to improve, to do whatever I can to become an immediate contributor, by leveraging my skills and the skills of my teammates, to provide the best opportunity for our team to achieve their goals. I believe that the way we practice is the way we play, and the harder we work for each other, and push each other to improve, the closer we will get to meeting our goals. I pride myself on being relentless in my approach to training, disciplined in difficult times, the voice of positivity and hope in the face of adversity, and that my teammates are my brothers, and I will do anything to help them, including picking them up when they are down but holding them and myself accountable when we do not adhere to the values that our team has identified. I believe I must be a master at time management and must be intentional in creating routine so I can fulfill all my obligations, be there for my team when needed, excel academically so I do not let down my team or myself, and continue to find ways to improve. Soccer is the sport that challenges me to constantly think, get better, work for my teammates, push harder, and sacrifice. I have loved and respected the game since I learned to walk, and my passion has only grown stronger. Playing in college is the natural next step for me, and I am willing to do everything needed and more to take that next step.
