Emilio Paez '21 Recruiting Profile

My Name is Emilio Paez, I am in the graduating class of 2021. I was Pre-IB until my junior year. I am now doing Dual Enrollment going for my associate's degree. I have been playing soccer competitively since I was 8 years old. I play anywhere on the field but my favored position is defensive Mid along with center back. I have been a captain on every team I have played for. I see my leadership as one of the biggest strengths along with my IQ for the game. I played for the Florida ODP team as a center-back and captain, I played for the GPS National team in Northern Ireland competing in the NI Super Cup, I have won the Florida state championship with my club team, and recently I trained and played professional (without pay) in Ecuador for National and USFQ. I feel like I differ from other players with my ability to read the game and control it at the midfield position. My best attributes are passing and defending but when given the opportunity to score I get the job done. My ultimate goal is to develop further as a player and as a person off the field, and continue my soccer career to the Professional level.
