As a hard worker on my on and off days, and as a person who grew up from a foreign background, I can assure to any coach that I will give 110% to do what is needed and wanted on my, my teammates, and the school's behalf. My life, being the first generation of my family born in America, required me to always be there for my family, to be calm with weight of my family's future on my shoulder, and never give up. This, not only as an athlete, but as a person, is what makes me care about those around me and put the work ahead of myself than myself ahead of the work. Even when personal family problems forced me to lay off of soccer season for two years in high school, my determination made me run 3 miles everyday after school to play recreational pick-up games. My morals, family, and persistence are the three major factors behind me as both an athlete and a student. If I have a mission needs to be fulfilled, whether it is balancing IB, soccer, work and my personal life as I do, and becoming better everyday in what I love, there will be no doubt in my and my coaches mind that I will fulfill that mission and grow with others in the process.
