- Awards-Instead of AP I was a participant in the Cambridge AICE program in which students take college level courses and exams to achieve an AICE diploma. An AICE diploma requires high scores on at least six college level exams created by Cambridge. I received the AICE diploma in 2 years. -I received a scholarship during my junior year from the Naples Council on World Affairs to attend the Governors Institute of Vermont On Current Issues and Youth Activism valued at $4,000. -I was recognized my freshman year for being one of the top 100 students at Lely High School out of 1,300 other students. -I received student of the month during my junior year. -I was accepted into the National Honors Society my junior year. -I was accepted by Florida Gulf Coast University into their early admissions program called the Accelerated Collegiate Experience. In this program I can take up to 15 credit hours per semester at the University while taking no high school courses whatsoever. I will be completing
- Activities-I have been a member of my school's Kiwanis Key Club for two years and the Secretary of the club for one year. -I was a member of the Rotary Interact Club my junior year. -I have had two jobs throughout high school. -I am an avid fisherman, photographer, and environmental enthusiast.
