Playing soccer in college has been one of my biggest aspirations for what seems like forever. I have taken advanced classes and thrived in them making my GPA rise to a 4.38/4.0 to make my soccer goals possible. Academics have always come first to me and will always be on top because I know without rising above the basic standards I wouldn't have the opportunity to continue my dream of college soccer. I know I would be a good fit for your team because of my determination to prove myself and constantly rise to the top. At the start of 2020 I was no where near where I needed to be skill wise and physical wise to play the next level of soccer, it was my coach (Matt Poland) who gave me the initial spark to ignite my drive to prove that I could achieve my goal. I worked hard and have claimed Captains position on my team where I learned to be a leader and guide my team to push past our limits to win. On the field I can picture which pass lanes are most dangerous and where I should step to make those pass lanes disappear, I can also communicate this information with the rest of my team very well. What sets me aside from a typical center back is my ability to watch a players movement and tell where and when they are going to either pass or make a move allowing me to stop them before they make a play. I am also a leader on the field and set a focused and determined mood for my team allowing us to play at our full capabilities. With my drive and determination to play at the next level and achieve academic success I have no doubt that these skills will only increase as time goes on which is why I know I am ready to take my playing to the next level, and why I know that I would be perfect for your team.
