Since I was young, my parents always asked what I wanted to be when I was older. My answer would always be the same, a professional soccer player. I come from a very athletic family. Both my parents played sports at a high level and they have helped me in my development as an athlete. I have been playing soccer since I was 7 and I have had a passion for it ever since. I have been to summer camps and tournaments all around the world. These experiences have helped me develop lots of characteristics that help me every single day of my life.
I have learned teamwork and leadership as well as how to communicate with others. Also, playing sports has made me a very competitive person which makes me try my hardest in everything that I do. I have learned discipline which also helps me be a very organized person in school and other aspects. I have become a very balanced person while having to balance soccer, with school work and other activities I have throughout the week. In soccer you must deal with lots of wins and losses which has taught me to never give up until I reach my goal. All these attributes are what make me a good student athlete. My good academic and athletic standards are what I feel should get me into a good academic college, with a good soccer program.
