Growing up in a family that was heavily involved in both playing, coaching, and refereeing soccer, it was inevitable that the sport would become my passion. For the past 8 years I have used my experience playing on a competitive travel team as well as Varsity for my high school to become a well rounded player. I have played many different positions on the field and I excel at the Right Back and Center Defensive Mid positions where I can facilitate the movement of the ball from one end of the field to the other. My speed, accurate passing, ball skills, and high fitness level combined with my 6’2” athletic, frame combine with my leadership as captain of my team make me a strong candidate to compete at higher levels of the sport.
The years of teamwork and communication needed to be successful in soccer have also assisted me in my academic and personal life. Being able to get along with others on and off the field has honed my leadership skills for all life situations. In addition to soccer, I have also earned a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. My strong work ethic helps me in sports and in maintaining a high GPA even while taking all Honors and Dual Enrollment classes.
My ultimate goal is to find a college with a equally rigorous academic and soccer program to compete at a high level in both areas.
