My name is Zareke Anderson I have 4 csec awards as well as 2 city and guilds certificate, I played football for the Dinthiill Technical High School and also for the Charlemont High School in the issa school boys competition in Jamaica; due to some personal issues I was unable to play my last year of school boy football which ended in December year 2023. I am a winger, I can use both feet, however I have no favourite position on the field as long as I'm playing, I am happy; some coaches like to use me defensively when playing against stronger teams to strengthen the defensive line(I am comfortable playing any position my coach asks me to play). I aspire to become a professional soccer player, however injuries can be a detrimental factor in an athlete's life so my plan b is to become an accountant or writer; sports is an art and I believe the most beautiful art of all is writing, as an athlete education is a good factor to have on my talents tally as it is not just brawn that play sports but also your brain, especially in a soccer game; I believe that 95% of the game is using our brain while the other 5% is foot/technically wise. I am very passionate about everything I do, I am hardworking, I am punctual, and I am a team player, I love winning matches but just the adrenaline of getting to play the game is awesome; winning is great but winning as a team is better. I wouldn't say I am a leader but if I see somethings off with my teammate I'm going to try to cheer them up, I believe that stroong bonds and friendship within a team is better for us to be successful as well as building our character and morales as team players. I am talented at football but in terms of academics I've had major setbacks, between grade 11 and 12 my grades dropped ridiculously, however I made the graduation list and I also accumulated 4 passes in my csec examinations as well as 2 merit certificates in city and guilds which I believe is a major accomplishment. I could've gone to a college in Jamaica, however my filing process was finished and I am now living in the US and would like to be apart of something great.
