Damien Walsh '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Damien Walsh and soccer is and always will be an important part of my life. I feel as though I can contribute a lot to a team through my skill and determination, I hate losing or feeling like I’m second to anyone on the field and in life. The difference between me and other recruits is my drive and versatility, my primary position is outside back but I can make an impact on any part of the field and I strongly believe that if your teammates see that you want the game with all your heart they are gonna get motivated to do the same. With academics it’s the same thing I fully understand when different topics are being discussed and if it is a new topic I am able to firmly grasp it in a short amount of time. With all of that being said, I just want to be the best player and person I can be, not just for me but for my family that pushed me and enforced these ideals in me.
