Ricardo Orellana '21 Recruiting Profile

       My collegiate goals and aspirations are to study languages (French), for I want to speak a third language.  Spanish is my first, English is my second language.  I find this to be crucial especially in a sport where communication is vital.  I aspire to be able to communicate with teammates and coaches efficiently in their language to make teamwork flow efficiently.

       I'm the perfect candidate for your team because I am very adaptable and especially coachable.  My number one priority is to play for the team.  I do not crack under pressure by any team or by any coach, and I'm always willing to work and acquire new skills and tactical awareness.  I have a winning mentality that pushes me to be the best player I can be.

      There are quite a few things that make me different from other recruiters, for example, I am ambidextrous, I am vegan (I follow a plant-based diet), I am fully committed to soccer ( no parties, no drinking or smoking, no negative habits), I am a workaholic for the game, and I take care of my body very strictly to perform at the highest level (gym).  Hope to meet you soon.
