Beaudouin Taillefer '19 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to become a professional soccer player while simultaneously educate myself towards a career that I am not only passionate about but will help me provide a great life for me and my future family.  I aspire to be the best, so I am willing to put in the work to achieve that goal. 

Many say a good candidate for a soccer team has to be a hard worker, talented, smart, disciplined, and ultimately a team player.  I am like no other soccer player!  I am an overachiever by doing all of these things and more.  I have been playing since I was three years old, starting at the local YMCA. Once my parents realized I had the ability and interest in soccer they enrolled me in a recreational soccer program. Once that wasn’t enough, I tried out and became a competitive soccer player in the Tampa Bay area. In addition, I have actively participated in futsal, academy soccer, and even had the opportunity to play overseas with a select team from GFL Soccer in Germany twice!  I also had the privilege of being a part of Tampa Bay United Rowdies U16 National Championship team in 2017. We went back in 2018 for a second time and were finalists at the National Championship game in Frisco, Texas.  I also received a Certificate of Acknowledgment from Tampa, Florida Mayor Buckhorn.

What makes me different from other recruits is that I am relentless.  When I say I work hard, I do it!  I am reliable and get my work done.  I love to study and learn new things.  I look forward to the opportunity to go to college to enrich my education while playing the sport I love so much.  Even though there will be many obstacles, there are no limits if you are willing to work hard.
