My name is John Samuel Dillard and I am a rising 15 year old junior at Fannin County Comprehensive High School. My fascination with soccer began relatively late at 9 years old, but it truly has became my preferred pastime with aspirations of collegiate levels. I feel that I would be a worthy addition to any teams midfield because I am highly motivated, optimistic, and a play maker. I use my knowledge of the game to quickly make good plays, and I can read what the enemy team is going to do allowing me to attain a good position and communicate with my teammates. I do my best in every session and match. If my team loses, instead of dwelling on it, I reflect on how I could’ve played better. Basically, I keep a good mindset focused on bettering my play and growth. These are some of the factors that aided in my invitation to Barcelona, Spain to compete in the Mare Nostrum cup for the United States. With regards to academic performance, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA with honors classes and have dual enrolled with NGTC.
